Luca Turilli’s Rhapsody se presentará junto a Primal Fear este 8 de Septiembre
El próximo 8 de septiembre, se vivirá una épica batalla de metal, ya que por primera vez en Chile Luca Turilli’s Rhapsody compartirá escenario con Primal Fear, donde además dirán presentes los temuquenses de Cuervo, evento que será llevado a cabo en el Teatro Cariola.
Luca Turilli’s Rhapsody, pisará terreno nacional presentando su última placa estudio llamada ‘Prometheus Symphonia Ignis Divinus’, publicada el año pasado.
Recientemente hablamos con Luca, sobre el nuevo disco de la banda, la nueva visita a Chile, sus integrantes y más.
1.- Hola Luca, ¿Cómo estás?
LT: Bien gracias, todo bien por acá, muy caluroso por cierto.

1.- Hi Luca, ¿How are you?
LT: Fine thank you, all fine here, very warm by the way, it’s summer here.
2.- ‘Prometheus Symphonia Ignis Divinus’ salió el 19 de Junio de 2015 en Europa, ¿Cómo ha sido la recepción de esta nueva placa?
LT: Bueno, es asombroso, porque realmente es más de lo que esperé, es un álbum muy importante porque después del quiebre de la banda hace 5 años atrás, después del primer álbum lanzado «Ascending to Infinity», estabamos muy asustados porque después de la separación, nunca sabes como la gente va a reaccionar, pero al final es un disco muy exitoso. La gente muchas veces, no conocía la diferencia entre una banda y otra, de alguna otra forma esto me preocupa, ver que a la gente le guste nuestra música, la nueva propuesta, y es muy importante porque, el nuevo Rhapsody es diferente al Rhapsody del pasado. Nunca sabes, cuando ofreces algo nuevo, puede gustar o no o cualquier cosa, no? Pero lo importante para mi y que siempre digo es que un compositor debe satisfacer su corazón y alma. Me encerré un año en el estudio, la producción fue muy larga, muchos días, la mezcla tomó un mes. Al fin y al cabo, fue un año de mi vida, pero al final lo tomo como una inversión, una inversión emocional diría, porque requiere un montón de sensaciones, un montón de emoción, fue genial componer esto. Al final cuando el álbum salió, realmente entró a muchas listas, en muchos países. Esto muestra el afecto y el amor de la gente, es increíble.

2.-Prometheus Symphonia Ignis Divinus was realeased on 19th of June 2015 in Europe, ¿How have you noticed the receiving of this new album?
LT: Well, it’s just amazing, because really it’s more than I expected, it’s a very important album because after the split five years ago, after the first album released, «Asceding to Infinity», we were too very afraid because after the split you never know how people can react, but in the end is a very successful album, the people didn’t know the difference between the two bands, in some way this concerns to me because seeing the people that like our music, our new proposal it’s very important because the new Rhapsody is a little bit different for the Rhapsody of the past. You never know, when you offer something new can be like, can be dislike or whatever, no?, but the important for me is that I always say is that a composer have to satisfy his heart and soul. I locked myself for one year in the studio, the production was so long, the mixture was a month long, in the end, is one year of my life, but in the end I see this like an investment, an emotional investment I would say, because it needs a lot of sensations, a lot of emotions. In the end when the album came out really entered many charts, many countries. This shows the affection and the love of the people, it’s just amazing.
3.-Sabemos que todos los integrantes son de diferentes países, ¿Cómo se han congeniado las culturas?
LT: Aaah, absolutamente buena, hay italianos, franceses, alemanes, me refiero, son diferentes culturas pero yo no veo diferencia alguna. Se abren los bordes del mundo en alguna forma, no me gustan los bordes, no me gustan las divisiones, para mi todos son iguales, no siento diferencia alguna con ellos, somos personas de mentes muy abiertas. Para mi lo más importante al elegir un nuevo integrante, es la actitud y el carácter, a parte de la buena técnica y habilidades, ya que compartimos mucho tiempo juntos, muchas giras. Si no hay buena conexión, es mejor dejar las cosas de lado inmediatamente, en nuestro caso hemos estado cuatro años juntos ahora y todo está absolutamente bien.

We know that the band members are from different countries, ¿How are going the different cultures together?
LT: Aaah absolutely fine, italians, frenchs, germans, I mean, there are different countries but I don’t see any difference. We open up the borders of the world in a way, I don’t like borders, I don’t like divisions, for me everyone is the same, I don’t feel this kind of particular difference with them, they are very open minded people. When I choose new band members before being technically very good, the skill or whatever, for me the most important is the attitude and the character, because we share a lot of time together, we have to meet for long tours, if it doesn’t work very well it’s better to stop the relationship immediately, in our case we have been together for four years now and all is absolutely fine.
4.- ¿Qué más nos puedes contar sobre este nuevo disco?
LT: Este nuevo álbum habla sobre muchos temas que son muy importantes para mi, la metafísica, la evolución espiritual, lo que es algo muy diferente a la religión por supuesto. También algo sobre algunos de los misterios sobre los planetas, cada canción habla sobre algo diferente, como «One Ring to Rule Them All», en la que me inspiré en «El Señor de los Anillos».

4.- ¿What else can you say us about this new album?
LT: This new album speaks about many subjects that are very important for me, the metaphysic, the spiritual evolution, what is very diferent from religion of course. Also something about the misteries of the planets, every song speaks about something different, like «One Ring to Rule Them All», in which I was inspired for «The Lord of the Ring».
5.- Sabemos que también tienes una carrera solista, ¿Qué hay de eso?
LT: No no, paré mi carrera solista porque solo eran 3 discos diferentes, los lanzamientos hablaban: uno sobre el pasado, otro relacionado con el futuro y otro sobre el presente. Así que después de tener estos, me dediqué completamente a Rhapsody y otros proyectos que estoy trabajando, que de momento son Top Secret (risas).

5.- We know that you also have a solo career, ¿What about it?
LT: No, no, I stopped my solo career because it was just 3 different albums, the releases talks one was about the past, one was related with the future and other about the present. So after this 3 albums I decided to dedicate myself completely to Rhapsody and other projects that I’m working on now, but for the moment they are Top Secret.
6.- Rhapsody viene con Primal Fear, ¿Cómo tuvieron la idea de hacer tour juntos?
LT: Ahora es muy común conectar con más bandas para crear un paquete especial para atraer el interés de la gente, ya que ahora el mercado no es el mismo que el de 10 años atrás. Así que intentas conectar más público, tener más gente en el show es muy importante para sobrevivir no? Intentamos hacer esto en América del Norte y estuvo muy bueno, los considero grandes amigos, así que después de unos shows en Canadá y Estados Unidos, decidimos llevar este show a América del Sur, así que estamos muy emocionados de volver a verlos a ellos y a ustedes en su país.

6.- Rhapsody is coming with Primal Fear, ¿How did you get the idea of touring together?
LT: Now is quite common to connect more bands to create a special package to attract more interest in the people, because now, the moment of the market is not like 10 years ago. So you try to connect more crowd, to have more people at the show, it’s very important to survive, no? We tried to do this in North America and it was great, I consider them as a great friends, so after we made this in Canada and USA, we decided to give this show to South America, so we are very excited to meet with Primal Fear again and with you in your country.
7.- ¿Cómo ha sido compartir escenario con ellos?
LT: Ha sido fantástico, todo ha sido perfectamente planeado, cuando las cosas se planean, todo sale perfecto, son de mente muy abierta y respetuosos, no han habido problemas, ahora somos amigos.

7.- ¿How it has been sharing the stage with them?
LT: It’s been fantastic, everything was perfectly planned so, when everything is perfectly planned, everything goes perfect, they are open minded and respectful, so this happened so there were no problems, now we are friends.
8.- De vuelta al show en Chile, ¿Qué podemos esperar?
LT: Bueno, pueden esperar muchas cosas, clásicos de Rhapsody, algunas canciones más antiguas, otras nuevas, parte de mi trabajo como solista. Trataremos de satifascerlos a todos, para tener a cada persona de vuelta a nuestros futuros shows.

8.- Back to the show in Chile, ¿What can we expect?
LT: Well, you can expect a lot of stuff, the classical Rhapsody, some very old songs, some new songs, part of my solo work. We will try to satisfy every face, to have every person back when we tour.
9.- Finalmente, ¿Algunas palabras para los fans?
LT: Sí, absolutamente. Quiero verlos a todos ese día, porque cuando compones en el estudio y ves como suenan los pianos, las guitarras y todo, es un momento mágico, pero la segunda parte viene cuando ves muchas caras y ves a la gente en frente de ti cantando tus canciones, la energía que pusiste en el disco, se te devuelve con la energía de toda esta gente en frente de ti, es un gran y lindo momento para todo músico o compositor, así que por favor vengan que queremos abrazarlos a todos.

9.- Finally, ¿Some words for the fans?
LT: Yeah, absolutely. I want to meet you all that day, because when you compose the music in the studio and you see how piano or guitars sound, it’s a magic moment of course, but the second part comes when you see the faces, and see the people in front of you singing your songs, the energy that you put in the album, comeback with the energy of all that people in front of you, it’s a great and beautiful moment for every musician or composer, so please come to see us because we really want to embrace you all.
